OVERVIEW
The Seasoned Women is a new nonprofit with no prior presence, no existing content, nothing to build on. Services, positioning, and program names all had to be pulled out of the founder through requirements interviews before the team could design anything.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
How might we launch a first-ever digital presence that establishes credibility and fashion confidence for a brand-new nonprofit, while staying approachable to a broad, undefined audience (women 18+, any life stage) — and gives them a clear path to book, donate,
or volunteer?
RESEARCH & INSIGHTS
DESIGN PROCESS & sTRATEGY
Information Architecture
*Whiteboard brainstorm and sitemap evolution: v1 → v1 refined → v2*
Design System
Explored two directions for the primary brand color — a bold red and a deep burgundy — and landed on burgundy paired with light pink: burgundy for strength, confidence, and boldness, light pink to carry softness and warmth. Typography pairs Instrument Serif for display and headings with Instrument Sans for body copy, kept clean and spacious to stay approachable across a broad age range. A defined type and spacing scale kept the system consistent from wireframe through final UI.

Wireframing to Final UI
*Low-Fi Wireframe -> Mid-fi Wireframe -> High-fi wireframe*
Component System
Built a reusable component library — button states (default, hover, disabled), navigation links, and card patterns, so the UI stayed consistent across every page and handed off cleanly to the two front-end developers
